Anthony Joshua is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-bout contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "break" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Ex two-time world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, on paper, a huge uneven pairing - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Boxer's Attitude
"I'm going to damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove my superiority," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to injure him. That's my goal."
Respectful Exchange
Despite such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Paul - usually famous for his theatrics - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Joshua, meanwhile, criticized British opponent Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] is better than Fury - he's present here," the boxer commented.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or faded names since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer continues to be one of boxing's biggest financial successes, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28-year-old forecast a stoppage in round four or five and stated he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is reportedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul stated.
Physical Disparity
As Joshua and Paul met for the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it drove home just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
